This workshop is designed for individuals who are interested in learning how to conduct small, medium, and audience readings. During the workshop, you will be taught various techniques and methods that will facilitate your progress towards conducting larger groups. Additionally, the workshop will help you enhance your confidence and enable you to conduct groups independently.
Introduction
We'll discuss the difference between a one-on-one reading, and a group reading. We'll talk about the dynamics of reading more than one person and give you some tools and structure.
One-on-One Work
You'll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a classmate. During this reading, you'll execute the reading structure and dynamics into your reading. Hillary will be listening to readings offering guidance to each individual.
Small Group Lecture
We'll discuss the dynamics, and methods of reading in a small group. You'll have a structure and method to follow. You'll learn how it works, and what method to use when connecting to 3-4 people.
Small Group Work
Next, we'll work in small groups of 3-4 people. You'll start to understand and get acclimated to reading more than one person.
Lunch
Medium Sized Group Work
After Lunch, will get back into the flow by working with slightly larger groups of 5-6. You'll have the opportunity to read and hear readings from your classmates.
Large Group/Audience Work & Business Marketing
Next, we'll discuss large group/ audience readings. You'll learn how to do a large group of people, 10 or more people. We'll go into a bit about marketing yourself, and how to attract clients.
